Frequently Asked Questions

What can RESTO-PAAN do?
Just photograph your menu and you have a menu in 15 languages. Through a QR code on the table, a tablet or a printed copy, your dishes reach foreign guests in their own language. Printed menus are in 12 languages.
Does it cost anything?
Translation is free for your first 100 items and for up to 30 items a month. Beyond that, you buy one-time item packs; there is no monthly fee. Many restaurants can use it free of charge.
Do I need new equipment?
No. Take the photos with the smartphone or tablet you already have, then print the QR code and put it on the table.
Can we correct the translations ourselves?
Yes. Every translation, in every language, can be edited by the restaurant.
What if the menu isn't available in a guest's language?
The menu is translated automatically, on the spot, into the language the guest chooses. The restaurant does not pay for these translations.
